Cancel SoulGen vs Request a Refund vs Delete Your Account: Choose the Right Outcome
Cancellation addresses future renewal. A refund request asks the provider to review an existing payment. Account deletion addresses the account and its data. Start with the result you need, because completing one of these actions does not prove that the other two are complete.
This comparison explains SoulGen’s public pages checked October 21, 2026. We did not sign in, submit a request, or verify a completed outcome. It is for adults managing their own account who want to leave a service or understand the commitment before paying.
Choose the actual problem
| Your situation | Primary route to investigate | Evidence to keep | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|---|
| You want the next renewal stopped | Cancellation | Confirmation and effective date | A refund was approved |
| You believe a payment may qualify for return | Refund eligibility review | Transaction date, amount, use history and response | Stopping use automatically opens a claim |
| You want creations removed | Creation deletion | Which items were removed and when | Every other account record disappeared |
| You want to close the account | Account deletion | Prior billing/support records and deletion confirmation | Billing was separately canceled |
First preserve the information needed to resolve billing
Consider a fictional subscriber, Jordan, who notices a renewal charge after deciding to stop. Jordan has not created anything since that charge. The useful first step is to collect the transaction date, payment method, account identifier, and subscription details while account access is still available.
Save the receipt and any current plan or renewal display. Record whether any credits or features were used after the payment. If usage is unclear, say it is unclear. A support request with a concise chronology is easier to assess than several contradictory guesses.
Avoid including full card details or a password in correspondence. Use the provider’s official contact and request routes. This site does not process billing requests and cannot authenticate the subscriber to SoulGen.
Cancellation: obtain evidence about renewal
The official automatic-renewal page directs users to log in and use its linked Feedback Form. It says cancellation does not refund already paid fees and access continues to the current period’s end. The Terms also describe a PayPal route when applicable.
For Jordan, the request should explicitly identify the goal: stop future renewal and confirm the effective date. Save the provider’s response. If a support form is submitted, distinguish a submission receipt from confirmation that the renewal is canceled.
A useful personal log has four fields: submitted date, request reference, response received, and next billing status. An empty confirmation field means “not yet confirmed,” not “probably done.”
Refund review: check conditions before more use
The Return Policy describes a 14-calendar-day application window, eligibility restrictions involving use, no partial refunds, and staff approval. Its renewal example depends on no credits or images being used since the payment. Sale items and used credits have exclusions. These conditions do not promise that every request inside 14 days is approved.
If Jordan wants a review, the request can give the payment date, explain the renewal issue, state the known usage history, and ask whether that transaction qualifies. Jordan should also ask for cancellation confirmation if future billing needs to stop. One message can state two requested outcomes, but the response must address both before the record is complete.
Do not continue generating while assuming it cannot affect eligibility. Read the current Return Policy and Terms first. If the public wording does not settle the specific transaction, ask the provider to explain its decision rather than presenting this guide as a binding ruling.
Deletion: separate content, account and public copies
SoulGen’s Privacy Policy describes deletion tools for creations and a Delete Account control. It distinguishes non-community creations, retained for seven days, from community posts that remain until voluntarily deleted. Other personal information has a purpose-based retention period. A seven-day creation statement is not a seven-day lifetime for every record.
Before closing an account, retain records needed for unresolved billing and download your own wanted files. The policy describes account deletion as irreversible. We did not verify where these controls appear in the current signed-in interface. If a control is unavailable, use the official contact page to ask for the correct route.
For material shared outside the service, maintain a separate list of destinations. Removing an original does not establish that recipients, reposts or independent copies have disappeared. This matters even for ordinary fictional artwork if a draft was shared publicly before approval.
A practical order of operations
- Define your goals: renewal, payment review, particular creations, account closure.
- Save necessary account and payment records.
- Submit the appropriate billing request and retain its reference.
- Verify the requested billing outcomes from the response or account state.
- Remove unwanted creations and handle any known public destinations.
- Close the account when the records and unresolved requests no longer require access.
This order reduces the risk of losing information needed to finish the job. It is a planning method; it does not claim that deletion always cancels billing or that a refund will follow.
For Jordan, success means two separate confirmed billing outcomes: the future renewal has stopped, and the payment review has a recorded decision. Data cleanup is then a third task. That is more precise than a single ambiguous note saying “account sorted.”
